Small world. I'm doing a semi-report on Hermann Hesse. Check out his autobiographical writings. Look up things by a guy named Joseph Mileck. A website called pinkmonkey.com has some bio info and notes on some of Hesse's books. Sparknotes.com also has the same kind of stuff. Look up an author named G.W. Fields.

If you look at the portal page of the Hermann Hesse Page HHP, you will find a menu item on international editions which lists all licensed translations. There are quite a few Spanish books listed on pages 46-50. The file is in PDF (Adobe Acrobat Reader) format and you need to download the Reader if you do not already have it. The file is large so you may have to wait a little until it is displayed. For a (long) shortcut to the location use http://hesse.projects.ucsb.edu/projects/hesse/publications/uebersetzungen-sprache.pdf
