Can you help me with "Hesse and Psychotherapy"? Reply to this post

Hello everybody!

I was wondering if you could give me some hints (monographies, articles, papers, websites,...) on the above topic. Furthermore, if you know an interesting angle on how to approach the subject or a detailed complex of special interest, I would be grateful if you could let me know.

I'm doing a university course on the therapeutic process and for an extended essay I can suggest any topic I want to with respect to Psychotherapy. As Hesse went several times into analysis this seemed to me a good topic, given that Hesse is one of my heros anyway.

I would be delighted if you could let me know anything you might come up with. Cheers!

Jan (jh65@canterbury.ac.uk)

Hey Jan ... one more thing

I just emailed the professor that introduced me to the topic of Hesse and psychology ... I will email/post anything that she sends back to me.

Okay ... this isn't much, but my professor just got back to me...

She said ...
"The only reference that comes immediately to mind is the C.G. Jung Letters (1973) Princeton University Press (Bollingen Series XCV:l). I seem to remember that my father-in-law became interested in Hesse while he was in Zurich at the Jung Institute, so there may be something more among the Jungians."
