Hesse fans and literature exchange
|
| |
Through this forum I have talked to a couple people through email, who I have found to be quite interesting/talented writers. The thought just dawned on me, but wouldnçt it be amazing if there were a website in which Hesse fans could post their own writings/poetry, etc.? I think the common interest that we all share in Hesse could provide a nice foundation for another type of literature exchange Ÿ I personally donçt know too much about web-design, but if you have impute/ideas/suggestions, Içd love to hear what youçre thinking.

I'm just checking the Hesse Massive Fanbase, as I'm doing some research for an up-coming, on-going project... I'm really amazed and heartened to discover that such enthusiasim and dare we say it, love for this author exists...
Good idea Lex, people with taste will be drawn to examples of great taste... Lets see if any-one can match it with talent.

Lex,
I think that's a fantastic idea. All we need, I guess, is a host. Where do we find one ?

I'm planning on building a new computer system and if I do, I'd be willing to create such a web site. How many people would be interesting in contributing their writing ?
thanks,
John

I am new here, I don't really know anyone...but I'd like to say that unlike other message boards, everyone here seems so accepting, binded by a common - yes I'd say love and admiration. I think a place where we all could post our poetry would be wonderful and I'd gladly contribute.
Thank you all for being the accepting individuals that you are...you can tell that such people have endured numerous hardships and have the depth to show for it.

Lex, that is a wonderful idea. I'm not an author, but would love to read the work of other Hesse addicts. I just wanted to add my voice to this dialogue, to encourage such an exchange. I think it would be very popular!

Hi,
I'm in the process of organising an annual writing competition(online) naming it after Hermann Hesse. I will keep everyone up-to-date, about its progress. The competition will accept short stories using Hermann Hesse themes or anything that would reflect the theological and philosophical concerns of our 'postmodern' age.

It's been a while since I have checked in with this forum, but I'm quite pleased to see the interest that people have mentioned toward sharing their own work ... I'm still not clear on the best way to go about this, but I'm working on some ideas and will keep everyone posted. I'm still up for suggestions ... There has to be someone out there with an idea on how we could get a website together that allows for literature postings.
