I strongly beleive that Hesse lives in that land as described in Borges works , the planet Tlon to be exact .Where people of great minds are indee toghether trying to create a world for those of us that feel totally strange to todays society , those of us who think that maybe if we were born in a future and distant era we could fit in perfectly and develop ourselves as we wish to so .Please feel free to post anything that you might think about this subject perhaps toghether we can find that place .

Dear Friend, It is no surpise that you feel a connection between the worlds of Hesse and Borges, as both place many of their works in the context of the mystical traditions of Judeo-Christianity, as well as hermetism (beside material from more known philosophies and belief traditions). This abstract world is one which gave birth to alchemy, to the myth of Faust, but was also very important in the Renaissance, and from it was born science (only that science lost spirit, lost God, lost the soul). Today's society is the result of the triumph of rationalism. Materialism reigns. I recommend to you Carl Jung - he also lived in Tlon. I also want to comfort you that Hesse and Borges also lived in Tlon and did not feel comfortable in this world. One must make a Tlon for oneself, and people it with others that like it there!
