The only book of Heese I have read yet is Demian, but considering its heavy symbolism and pecular philosophy, and the fact that the man who suugested that book to me may be a Rsoe-Cross himself (I havn't meant to ask him yet), I was wondering if anyone knew about a connection between Hesse and a Rose-Cross organisation.

He was a freemason. Rose-Croix is 18-degree from A:.A:.S:.R:.

I beleive he may've had some friends who were from that organization but i beleive that he never was member of any secret organization. He beleive that his discoveries would be prevented from being published if he becomes a member .I like to think of him as someone who's soul was an asset of something we as humans cannot reach trough rationalism or through any kind of rules or laws that we can furnish no matter how perfectionatedd these might be.
Of course this is only my personnal opinion and view.
